The Celies
Drs. Rik and Sabine Celie are both Belgian MD's. They graduated in 1988 from the University of Louvain, Belgium, and started a private practice near Brussels. After they experienced a powerful conversion to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1990, they sold their practice and left to serve the Quechua Indians in Bolivia.
Once on the mission field, they felt the need to perfect their preparation through studying theology so they could not only attend the sick, but also teach and train those who are in desperate need of the Word of God.
Both of their children were born in Bolivia. They went to Bolivian elementary school for three years, have been homeschooled and are now attending Canyonville Christian Academy in Oregon.
