Due to the Earthquake in Haiti, Drs. Rik and Sabine Celie are now providing medical care to the sick and wounded in Haiti! It wasn't easy getting there, but they have teamed up with friends from a ministry called, 'Heart for Haiti' which is an orphanage with over 200 orphans and many adults. Their building, worth about 1.5 million dollars, was destroyed.
They are working practically around the clock and there are still many who haven't received any treatment in outlying areas. The continual earthquake aftershocks have kept them working and sleeping outside. Please keep them, the orphans, and others at the orphanage in prayer!
The Celies are perfectly suited for this type of mission since they have worked in very primitive conditions for many years. One of their specialties is in tropical diseases. Sabine has recently been taking many classes in psychology which will help the traumatized people of Haiti.

Founded by Drs. Rik and Sabine Celie, Doctors on Mission is a ministry which brings medical and spiritual help to those who would otherwise receive none. Currently we are focused on Bolivia in the mountains and Amazon region, but have plans to expand elsewhere as the Lord leads.
We train up local medical professionals who will serve their countrymen with the love of Christ and the best medical skills available. Our strategy is to establish mission base camps and to send mobile medical / evangelistic teams from that camp to neighboring villages. We will then set up satellite bases to expand our outreach even further.
We invite you to browse through this site to learn more about this challenging, but greatly rewarding ministry. View our latest video to quickly see what we do!
